Alicea Ardito

Alicea Ardito, MSW, LCSW, MSCP

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Northern Virginia, providing psychotherapy and counseling to adults of all ages. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Arizona State University in 2000, my Master of Social Work (MSW) from George Mason University in 2013, and my Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology (MSCP) from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2023. I am clinically licensed (LCSW) in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Using a healthy sense of humor and authentic joy, I provide my clients with a friendly, nonjudgmental, and supportive atmosphere. I believe connection is important, especially in the professional therapeutic relationship. In addition to my work with adults of all ages, I have extensive experience working with older adults and with the “sandwich generation”, adults who are caring for both children and aging parents.

I have a strong knowledge base in psychopharmacology and I integrate this into my clinical social work practice to improve client outcomes.

My commitment is to provide supportive, affirming, inclusive and client-centered care to my clients. Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I look forward to the opportunity to learn about you!
